The lands of the Far
West (somewhat conjectural)
One of many names for Aman, the Blessed Realm of the Valar that was taken out of the world after the rebellion of the Númenóreans and the Downfall of their island home. More often known simply as 'the West', the term included all the lands that lay westward beyond the Sea. In the Far West was not only Valinor, the land of the Valar, but also the island of Tol Eressëa to which the Elves of Middle-earth could still sail, following the Straight Road that was lost to the Mortals of the Hither Lands.
