A title occasionally given to one of the Valar. Our only specific example comes from the histories of Númenor, in which Oromë the Huntsman of the Valar is referred to by Aldarion as 'Oromë the Lord'. The title might thus be specific to Oromë, but in context it seems rather more likely to be recognising his status as one of the seven Lords of the Valar. By extension, the Númenóreans would presumably have used an equivalent feminine epithet for the seven Valier or Queens of the Valar (as for example in 'Varda the Queen' or 'Yavanna the Lady') but no such usage is specifically recorded.
