Moria-silver

The lustrous shining metal also known as true-silver or mithril. Although legend said that this metal had been mined in Númenor, in Middle-earth it was found only in the mines beneath the Mountains of Moria. Moria-silver was always valuable, but after the Dwarves were driven out of Khazad-dûm and mining ceased, it became precious almost beyond calculation. During his adventures at the Lonely Mountain, for instance, Bilbo acquired a chain-mail coat made of Moria-silver, which Gandalf claimed had a value beyond that of the Shire and all it contained.
