The son of Gram , the ninth King of Rohan and last of the first line, renowned in the histories of Rohan . During his reign, the Rohirrim were at war with the Dunlendings - Helm and both his sons perished in that war. He was succeeded by his nephew Fréaláf , who founded the second line of Kings .
